After returning from overseas, having taught at Department of States schools, Adriana taught Spanish at Parkside High School in Wicomico County from 1998 to 2006. While at this site, Adriana held various leadership positions including Department Head and school leadership team member. She founded the first Spanish National Honor Society at Parkside High School and earned National Board Certification in Wolrd Languages. In 2001, Adriana received a Masters degree from Salisbury University. In 2008, Adriana became a Mead scholar presenting at NECTFL; her project was “Spanish for Careers.” Adriana taught at Worcester Technical High School until 2013 when she returned to Wicomico County to teach Spanish at Wicomico High School. Since 2001, Adriana has been an adjunct for the Modern Languages Department at Salisbury University.
