Stephanie Gerhold is the Instructional Team Leader of World Languages at Centennial High School in Howard County where she teaches intermediate Spanish. She previously served as Department Chair of World and Classical Languages at Annapolis High School teaching Spanish in the International Baccalaurate Diploma Program. Stephanie has worked for several years as a curriculum writer for Spanish for Anne Arundel County Public Schools. She holds undergraduate degrees in English and Hispanic Studies from Washington College where she taught Spanish as an adjunct professor for six years. She has a MA in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from Salisbury University. Stephanie is excited to join the board of MFLA so that she may continue to advocate for second-language learning and biliteracy at a state and national level.
