Mead Leadership Fellowship

Maryland Foreign Language Association (MFLA) is accepting applications for the Mead Leadership
Fellowship Program.  Please see the attached documents for details about the program sponsored by the Northeast Conference on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (NECTFL) with support from SANS, Inc.

This is a wonderful opportunity to interact with other leaders in the field.  If chosen to participate, NECTFL matches fellows up with mentors to provide guidance in realizing a project of their design.  Click to review project descriptions of past Mead fellows, including Maryland’s own Crystal Dunkin (St. Mary’s Ryken HS), Jim Ventosa (Howard County), Susan Sutton (UMBC), & Andrea Morris (Prince George’s County).

MFLA will review the applications and choose a nominee to forward to NECTFL for consideration as the representative from Maryland.

Applications are due to MFLA by November 1, and electronic submissions are encouraged.
