MFLA organizes and hosts two conferences yearly: one in October and the other in March. Both conferences offer a variety of extended workshops and concurrent sessions, but the fall conference is more extensive. It provides a two-day experience with an awards ceremony and banquet where the Maryland Language Teacher of the Year is honored. MFLA hosts mini-conferences in partnership with universities and school districts around the state to reach out to fellow educators.
